It’s hard to believe that the end of the year is upon us already, it feels as though 2007 has just flown by. I’m sure many of you are busy working on submitting your entertainmnet budget for 2008, and after taking a quick peek there is plenty to be exicted about. Both the Superbowl and Final Four are both in warm weather cities known for great hospitality, the US is hosting the Ryder Cup at the Valhalla Golf Club and of course the Olympic Summer Games make their way to Beijing, China in August.
It’s shaping up to be an epic year in sports entertainmnet, and you will want to maximize every dollar that you spend. One way to assure you do that, is by not leaving any of your 2007 budget on the table. It’s difficult to plead your case as to how much money you will need in an upcoming year if you didn’t use all of the money allocated in the current year. We can work with you in terms of creating deposits on a future event, even if you aren’t totally sure at this point where you are going to spend it. That money could be used towards a deposit for a major event, or even to simply set up an account for tickets to local sporting events and shows, which you can draw upon as needed.
At any rate, you will not want to be left behind. Sports entertainment continues to be among the best ways to make a lasting impression on your clients. If you aren’t willing to do it, chances are, someone else is. So as you are planning your budgets, and you ask yourself, can we afford this? Take another look, and ask yourself if you can afford not to.
